Good morning, My experience yesterday with your service department was unfortunately less than positive. I want to emphasize that my service writer Kay Andrade was as always professional, positive and provided top quality interaction. Kay Had to leave the facility for an appointment, which she made me fully aware of in our initial interaction. She let me know she would be passing my file off to one of her peers who would keep track of the vehicle and process. My appointment was at 9:30 AM and K indicated that the service should take about one and a half hours. At 11:45 I sought out the gentleman who was given the file and he told me he would check with the technician. He returned to me 10 minutes later to tell me that the vehicle had yet to be taken back, I am not sure what happened that caused the significant delay from appointment time to actual service time, but I was very disappointed that the gentleman really didn’t seem to be overly concerned about the situation. It was obvious that he made no effort to follow up on my vehicle during the pricess. He offered no apology. Just stated that they were really busy and backed up today and he could either give me a loaner or call for a Lyft. The vehicle was in for a Simple 40,000 mile service with oil change, tire rotation, etc. Kay Called when she returned to the office to let me know the vehicle was ready, which was nearly 2 PM. Again, none of this was Kay’s fault I have nothing but the highest praise for her in her position. Because of Kay’s professionalism, I will continue to return to Lexus of Las Vegas for my service. I have no complaints about the quality of the care that you provide to the vehicle and normally to the customer as well. Obviously, something untoward happened that put the car out of the timeframe that it should have been.
