I bought my own Mobile 1 W16 engine oil to be used for the oil change servicing but it was not used. When I checked the engine oil it was all black in color for a new oil change??? This is disgusting and very annoying; I’m really disappointed and angry at this point.

Actually it was incomplete because I had to much gas in the tank so they couldn’t service the truck and asked me to bring it back when they’re is less gas

My service man was superior. He was kiind, knowledgeable and professional. I was never able to use various devices in my car. He took the time to show me how to use these devices. I think his name is Eric Taylor. The district managers should know how he went beyond his kindness to be very kind and professional to me, today. Have a great and productive Nee Year, D. Johnson

I’ve been a customer of Toyota River Oaks for almost 20 years, purchasing multiple vehicles and have had countless maintenance appts. Recently I’ve noticed much more aggressive “upselling”, with high pressure calls about trade-ins, and expensive, lengthy reports for service needs. Today for example, I came in response to a car alert for for an oil change. Additionally, I asked that the tires be checked to address an air pressure alert on the dashboard. I also asked if my new plates could be installed on the car. I was quoted $89. After waiting more than an hour, and after asking for assistance, I received a digital report advising me to consider additional work of more than $700. I explained to the technician (who was very responsive) that at least two of the services in the report had been completed pretty recently, representing g at least $300 of the recommended service report. It appears that the service recommendations were not compared to services performed during true last 6 months. I had a similar conversation with a tech during my last visit about air filters that I know where replaced earlier in the year. It would be helpful for the recommendations to be listed next to an actual list of services performed on the vehicle with a 3rd column for recommended timing of the service. A list of comparisons would allow the customer to make timely decisions and would likely create more trust with the service crew. Finally, my tech recommended tire rotations, which I agreed to. However, when I got into the car the air pressure light was still on. I couldn’t imagine that a tech who performed a rotation wouldn’t check air pressure or turn off the alert light on the dashboard. When came back into the shop and explained what I discovered my tech drove the car back into the service area, and another gentleman filled the tires with air and turned off the alert. Now I am not sure the tires were rotated at all. Before leaving I reviews the video provided by the service tech, who made no mention of the oil change nor tire rotation, ironically being very thorough about the other services needed. I lost a little faith in the service department today and hope to regain that trust in the future.
