We decided to give your service dept one more try after a bad experience with our previous Highlander that we purchased from your dealership. Your dept changed our oil and overtightened the oil filter. It had to be destroyed in order to remove and eventually chiseled off. You can understand our hesitation with the lack of training on a simple oil change. Thank you for doing the recall work with our airbag recall, in a timely manner and the communication during the process.

It’s been said that the worst that can happen rarely happens. With that in mind, I just heard from my mechanic - he told me that the hybrid system on my car is dependent on the engine starting to charge the hybrid battery. Starting the engine requires a good 12 volt battery under the hood. Turns out the 12 volt battery was dead and simply needed to be replaced. Why didn’t the service tech begin with the simplest solution? Thank God my mechanic is competent and honest.
