My rating has nothing to do w the service rep Jim, but VERY disappointed and discouraged that Toyota and the dealership would not honor what should have been a free oil change and tire rotation. I bought my car in May 2022 and am a low mileage driver due to an unforeseen medical situation last yr. Even though I would have been due for the free 30,000 mile 30 month service back in Nov ‘24, I just hit 24,000 miles last week which is what the sticker on the window referenced to bring it in now which I did. Per Jim he said that Toyota does NOT allow him to waiver from the 30 month period (even though I wasn’t driving for about 4-5 months last year, but NO exceptions. Personally I feel that’s Bull since Toyota wouldn’t allow the free service prior to the 30 month period since I wasn’t due for service back then. Why did I have to pay $120.31 for an oil and tire rotation which very easily could have and should have been FREE under the warranty? I came in without an appointment for a flatter tire. Service agents were friendly and helpful.
Appointment was at 1045. Vechical entered the bay at 1146. What the point of an appointment? Also felt that Kevin was a little rude.
