Mike was excellent as a service advisor. The mechanics were able to correct the issue with the screeching brakes that was missed during last week visit. Unfortunately in the process they disturbed the interior of my vehicle. The cover protecting the interior carpet on the folded floor was removed and the interior was stained with dark grease and soot. This was unacceptable. I was told I would receive a call from the service manager regarding this total disregard for the vehicle, but I have not received it as of this writing.

My wife has a Toyota RAV4 and took it to Roberts Toyota of Columbia because Toyota gives you the first 3 oil changes and tire rotations for free. Well, not really — you paid for it with the car. I am a retired automotive technician with over 45 years of service. The last time I took it there, it did not feel like they rotated the tires, so this time I marked them. He called me and told me my wife’s car was done. I grabbed the paperwork, walked to the car, and the tires were never rotated. I approached the service writer, told him, and showed him the pictures. He told me they did rotate them, but only on one side. I marked both sides. Lies, lies, lies. So if you go there — which I would not recommend — mark your stuff, whatever you’re having done.

I had to wait over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. No updates were given only excuses when I had to ask what was taking so long And yes I did have an appointment and actually arrived early. I will be back because they have always treated me with courtesy.
