I always find everyone I encounter at Faulkner Toyota to be friendly, professional and approachable. I also find scheduling service appointment appointments to be very efficient. Here is why I’m not satisfied with my experience yesterday, November 11. I came in for my complementary 20,000 mile check up and waited in the in the lobby for the car service to be completed. At some point, I did receive a text to give me an update on the service. There was really no explanation other than I thought it was a courtesy to let me know what was going on. I inadvertently and unwittingly agreed to “add-on” services. I didn’t realize that these were extra services and that I would be charged for them since I was under the impression that they might’ve been included with the 20,000 mile service. I was shocked when I picked up my key that I owed $463.64 for additional services that I unknowly agreed to, but was uninformed. I believe, as a courtesy, someone could have reached out to me since I was sitting in the lobby to explain that there was additional services that were recommended and review with me the cost and reason. Sending me a text when I was only a few feet away and for me to try to understand what it all meant, ended up costing me $463.64. There were four additional services recommended. A wheel alignment, wheel balancing, replacement of the cabin air filter, and a ventilation cleaning service with installation of an AC power foam and air refresher. In all honesty, I would’ve agreed to the alignment and the balancing of the tires for safety reasons. I would not have agreed to the HVAC ventilation system cleanup with air freshener for $113.95 before tax, and the replacement of the cabin air filter for $100.54 before tax. Also, I find the air freshener, that apparently is AC powered, to be a very unpleasing smell almost on the border of getting a headache. I won’t be able to drive with the windows down in the winter and I have no idea how long that stench will last. Thank you for reaching out and letting me explain why I was unsatisfied with my experience yesterday. I don’t think I’ll be coming back for service after my last complementary checkup. Excellent and prompt service
It’s pointless to have a appointment if when you show up at your time to hear we only have one mechanic and 4 cars ahead of you. I pay top dollar to have my car go to the dealership waiting 2.5 hours for a basic service is crazy.
Christopher is extremely helpful person, he’s awesome. I never had problem with him, he care about his customer and alway explain everything with details.
Shannon was very rude, I didn’t appreciated how she was talking to me. I can understand that everyone can have a bad day but you can’t take your frustration with the customers. She need a better customer service and a little bit of training too
