I tried my booking with VIN and without VIN , portal showed me 0$ estimation for oil change and tyre rotation. After reaching dealership , my new profile has been created and end up paying for the oil chnage. I was been informed that portal shows in that way because by default it consider Toyota care registration which doesn’t make sense. Otherwise I would have been a happy customer.
If I booked an appointment , you should have pulled the data and not create a new profile

Please provide instructions to customers either with a sign or a text that tells them what to do when they arrive for an appt. I didn't know if i should stay in my car or go inside to the desk. I still don't know what I should do next time I come in. Real lack of direction at the arrival point of care.

This is my first Toyota so I have been taking it to different area dealerships to see what Toyota service is like. This was my first time at your dealership. I booked through the Toyota app and got a convenient and prompt appt. I got a text confirming and the text said to reply with questions. I did and did not get a reply. When I got a reminder text about the appt, I again replied and did not get a response. I had to call the dealership to get answers. Jacob was very helpful there. When I arrived, before my car was even in the shop, I was told a front end alignment was recommended for $100+. I declined. If this was recommended service, it should have been included and covered by my Toyoguard. I felt it was an up charge. I mentioned I had a tire that was losing air and asked it be checked for damage. I got a photo that did not clearly show the nail but was told the tire was unrepairable and it would be -$280 for a new tire plus balancing and mounting. I had just read online that as long as the nail is in the tread and more than 1/2" from the sidewalk, that should be plugable. I declined since there was no tire in stock and I figured I had time to shop around. As soon as I left the dealership, I drove to DiscountTire and asked for a second opinion. I told them safety was my primary concern and not to try to patch it if it would not be safe. They said it was an easy patch. They patched the inside of the tire and plugged it and said it was a very small nail/screw and really not a big deal. They did all of this at no charge to me. Now I feel that your dealership was trying to take advantage of me and I don't appreciate that. You are not the closest dealership to me but had you been the best, I would have gladly driven to you for future service. I do not plan to do that now. I do not want to be completely negative in my comments. Your waiting area was pleasant and clean. My service advisor was very polite. I got the impression perhaps his failure to answer my texted questions was more of a systems issue than negligence on his part. I also felt the alignment recommendation was rote so probably something pitched to everyone like "would you like fries with that?". At the conclusion of my service, my advisor answered my questions and even went out in the rain to check a few things. I appreciated that as well so don't come down hard on Mr.Whiteside, but please do reconsider your add-on suggestions and recommendations.
Surprised at how quickly the service was completed and that additional services were not recommended or pushed. The costs were in line with what I expected. Good experience this time. THANKS!
