The quote for the repair was $1000 to 1500 higher than other local dealers (within 10 miles). Jerome was nice, but the dealer quickly gave up $1000 when they realized they were completely out of line with other dealers. Not impressed. You should have been honest from the beginning and have lost a customer as a result

I had Mopar coupons which was valid, but my service advisor straight up said it won’t be used here. Which shouldn’t be the case. I was valid and and was sent through Mopar and could be used for any authorized location.

To start off the repair should have been under warranty as ALL of the aluminum steering boxes were updated and or replaced by Chrysler / Jeep on all Jeeps after having problems with failure per TSB 08-074-20. This was only after having difficulty even getting the service advisor to respond ( text message per her request ). Having to make multiple calls and requests for copies of the estimate, only to receive a hand written parts request with min info on the ticket. This repair, again should have been covered under the TBS as all other Jeeps have. But I was informed that the Jeep was 700 miles over my basic warranty. Because of the overage the repair was quoted at just under $1600 with Zero Good Will consideration and the fact that the service advisor AGREED that this part had been degrading over the last several thousand miles and not a failure that just accrued. After agreeing to this absurd price for a $350 steering gear the service advisor informed me that the part was on national back order for 6-8 weeks. Without any choice, as the Jeep was “unsafe to drive” per the advisor I felt I had no choice but to agree to the repair only after several inquiries about the part being covered under warranty. Which with every warranty question it seemed like there was an outlined rebuttal to dispute why it would not be covered. 4 weeks into this ordeal I get a phone call bright an early Monday morning to let me know that the Jeep was finished and ready for pick up. This was without ANY verbal or texted updates that the part for the Jeep had even arrived much less begone repair. As a 25 year Automotive Service Advisor this is a perfect example of how we DO NOT handle customer expectations. I can only say that I am still trying to find an example of ANY actual positive Customer Service given at all throughout my experience with your dealership.
