I purchased a new Hylander hybrid platinum and had a hitch installed.
1st appointment was made 1/31 drive 45 min south only to find no loaner cars available.
Rescheduled for2-5. The hitch was installed and looks great but the foot kick sensor to open the back hatch was never tested and doesn’t work now. I loved this feature.
Made another appointment for 2-12 to get that fixed now. It’s just hard to make the drive down here three times just to install a hitch.
I asked to speak to the tech to see if there is an easy fix and was promised he would call me today but never heard from anyone.
I loved the sales process and even your service Dept when there, just looking forward to getting this resolved

Elisabeth offered great customer service and was friendly and helpful even through some issues I had. First when I was checking in Elisabeth couldn’t find my appointment I made in her computer. I showed her my confirmation email I received on Saturday and she got me on the schedule to be seen at my appointment time. I needed an oil change on my 2021 RAV4, as well as new wiper inserts, engine air filter, cabin air filter and my hybrid battery filter cleaned. That’s where some of the trouble happened, in my owners manual it’s recommended to get the hybrid battery filter cleaned to prolong the batteries performance, however Toyota of Puyallup didn’t have that service in their system so she spoke to the service manager and added it to the work order for me. When I went to pay she told me they wouldn’t charge me for the hybrid battery filter cleaning (I didn’t mind paying for it because I was planning to anyways)but they had to add it to the system but the service was done anyway, which I very much appreciate.
She did a great job rolling with helping me even though she didn’t have the right information she found it for me and still provided me with great service. What I appreciated she didn’t talk down to me when she was uneducated about the hybrid battery filter cleaning, she found the solution for me and provided great service as well. I really appreciated that even more than the free labor for that particular service.
