Alyssa was very dedicated in doing her job. However, the service to fix the problem did not happen. I brought my vehicle in to fix whatever caused the check engine light to come on which was a permanent code diagnosed to be caused by a faulty 02 sensor. The sensor was replaced and the check engine light turned off. Permanent codes set on 2010 and later model vehicle cannot be cleared until the fault that caused it is repaired. Although the check engine light can be turned off until the vehicle is driven and does a self check and see the fault still exist, it turns the check engine light back on. I picked my vehicle up 5/25, drove it home and to church the next day. At odometer miles 48555, 19 miles, the service engine light come on. Diagnosed Permanent code 138, bank one, sensor 2 that was just replaced. The sensor, ($701.77), is not the problem. I know from my 24 years as an auto tech that the diagnoses of a bad 02 sensor is not always a "bad sensor." I truly expected the problem that cause my check engine to come on to be fixed, especially by those who specialize on the make of the vehicle...let alone the money that was paid.
