We brought the car in for our first of 5 free oil changes. We had also asked to get an inspection sticker. The service dept informed my wife that one of the tire sensors was damaged. It was implied that the damage was likely caused by whoever put air in the tires last. We haven’t had to put any air in the tires since we purchased the car from you last year. That would imply that someone else at Woburn Toyota was the last person to put air in the tire. My wife was also told that properly functioning tire pressure sensors were required to pass inspection. This is not true. They also said it would cost approximately $315 to repair/replace the sensor and that did not include the $35 fee for an inspection sticker. My wife opted not to have the repair done there. When she got the car back it had the temporary (donut) spare tire on it. We took it to our trusted mechanic who confirmed that tire pressure sensor functionality was not required to pass inspection. He made the repair and got the sticker for less than half of what you would have charged. Needless to say, we won’t be bringing the car back to Woburn Toyota for any service regardless of whether or not it’s “free

The wait time for an oil change was 2:20 hours. I thought by having an appointment I would be done in an hour at most.Otherwise,what is the purpose of having an appointment??
