We came in to get an extremely minor rip in the roof of the car fixed. The car was bought less than a month ago, and we didn't check it at that time beecause the salespeople were so aggressive, which I understand. They asked us to bring in the car, took three days, and when my wife touched to see the part where the rip was (which was more of a fitting issue because it was underneath a clip), the clip fell off. We asked Tyler, who was handling the car about it, he said they did not have the correct accessory and had ordered it, and it willl take a week to come. What I don't understand is how did they let the customer drive the car away, making the customer believe that they fixed it whereas clearly they know they were wrong. If the clip fell after a week or a month, for example, they would have charged us money for that thing saying it is not under warranty! This is so disappointing and unethical. What remains the difference between a local car mechanic and Honda service station if you guys are doing worse than them, keeping the customer under deception. Me and my wife both are students, and also have a 3 month old baby. Not having the car with us for multiple days, and then coming in every other week to get something or the other fixed (when we bought a brand new car!!!!) is absolutely ridiculous and so inconvenient.

Our service provider, Luis was excellent! So was the young man who checked me in. The issue was the service took 5 hours! I drove 1 hour and 20 min. To the appointment then had to wait 5 hours before driving home so I was gone from 9:40 am until 6 pm. The service and accommodations at the former Acura dealership in Santa Barbara on Hope Ave right off the freeway was superior and convenient as they provided a loaner car and the service turn around time was 2 hours to 3 hours max. They would service the car when I dropped it off. I would go to lunch and walk around for a short while then they called to say it was done. When I arrived my car was ready and clean. They washed it and the charges were much less too. Their lounge was terrific too. Much nicer and more comfortable. Your service techs. Did their job well and it was not their fault that the mechanics were so slow. My guess is that they overbooked the appointments and nobody was available to provide service to my car when I dropped it off at 11:10 am. I was quoted a time between 2 and 3 that it would be ready so I called for a ride back to the dealer at 2 pm and sat on the bench outside until the car was finally ready at 4:15 pm. Car was not washed nor windshield wiped. I went to a nearby gas station to clean windshield and fill tank with gas and by then the traffic was bad. I did not get home until 6 pm so it was a long day.

This may be a repeat. I stated that Luis is outstanding and knowledgeable as a service rep. Very approachable and friendly which is a huge factor for me in doing business with anyone. And he loves is job at Honda which also is a huge factor for and pupils vocation. He is a asset to SB Honda!
