Tyler treated me exceptionally well and made sure all my needs were promptly addressed, even though I was late to my service appointment. I have been coming here for many years now to service my vehicle, and I have worked with both Tyler and Luis, and they always take care of me. I especially believe that they tell it like it is, and they seem to be genuine and honest individuals, which unfortunately can be a rarity when you are getting your car worked on. I have complete trust in the SB Honda team, largely because of their work through the years. The woman who helped me at Window 3 (I did not catch her name), was also incredibly helpful. Love the team you have here, and they keep me coming back. I hope they are all rewarded for their efforts.

The issue that I had with my vehicle was the last thing to be addressed amongst a sea of other things recommended to me by the sales associate. My issue was my window needed to be repaired, $1800 later the associate is having me sign for that quote and that did not even include the issue. I was there for which was the window!, many recommendations and pictures of the vehicle that were small and placed in a position that I could not recognize because I am not a mechanic, put me in a position to OK the work to be done on top of my full service and on top of my window being repaired. I was sent an estimate of over $13,000 for a car that I brought in for a window repair. Once the window was addressed, it was an outrageous $900 to be repaired, and like I said, I agreed to the repairs to the tune of $7000 then to add insult to the whole process of being up sold and putting in a position of uncertainty, I get in my vehicle to find an envelope sitting there from Honda stating congratulations. We want to buy your car for $3500 !!! , and let me tell you just how good that made me feel to know that I went in to get my window repaired for what I was estimating to be five to $700 at most And ending up spending $7000, and then get in my vehicle and see that Honda dealership only thinks the car is worth 3500 after they just made me spend $7000 on it assuring me that was the best for the vehicle. Is Honda in the market of making the customer pay for complete car upgrades and then buying it at half that Very insulting and very underhanded. I have been a loyal Honda customer and have only brought my vehicle to this dealership and this is how I got rewarded. One more thing I want to add is that only after my inquiry about pricesthey offered me a 15% discount on the repairs based on my first responder status And then proceeded to tell me that they could only offer up $500 in discounts because the computer would not allow anymore, which I had to go around and around with the service department to honor their offer of 15% off, needless to say this was a horrible experience, and I am left with my vehicle still trying to adjust to the fact that I made a good decision even though I have an envelope that says the car is only worth $3500, so a lot to say about it but I will just leave it at this for now as my chief complaints and unsatisfied state should be seriously recognized, and anyone I share my experience with are also outraged and are only in agreement based on the amount of money spent and the honest representation and experience of dealing with Honda Goleta.

Bonnie is so considerate and thoughtful. This week, I brought my Honda Fit in for a routine oil change and minor service, but it was discovered that more substantial repairs needed to be completed. Bonnie was empathetic regarding how she presented this surprise information which required more wait time and more money. Everything turned out great; my car was repaired/updated and through it all I received the most courteous, knowledgeable and professional service from Bonnie. I am grateful to be able to count on her for the care of my car. She cares about providing the best possible service.

Bonnie was efficient and thorough in explaining the problems that were discovered and what needed to be done to fix them. There is one more problem that needs to be fixed after the part arrives. She communicated the plan for. Ext week. I appreciate Bonnie’s commitment to following through to get the job completed.

We came in to get an extremely minor rip in the roof of the car fixed. The car was bought less than a month ago, and we didn't check it at that time beecause the salespeople were so aggressive, which I understand. They asked us to bring in the car, took three days, and when my wife touched to see the part where the rip was (which was more of a fitting issue because it was underneath a clip), the clip fell off. We asked Tyler, who was handling the car about it, he said they did not have the correct accessory and had ordered it, and it willl take a week to come. What I don't understand is how did they let the customer drive the car away, making the customer believe that they fixed it whereas clearly they know they were wrong. If the clip fell after a week or a month, for example, they would have charged us money for that thing saying it is not under warranty! This is so disappointing and unethical. What remains the difference between a local car mechanic and Honda service station if you guys are doing worse than them, keeping the customer under deception. Me and my wife both are students, and also have a 3 month old baby. Not having the car with us for multiple days, and then coming in every other week to get something or the other fixed (when we bought a brand new car!!!!) is absolutely ridiculous and so inconvenient.
