Busy day. I was going to wait in the lounge until my car was done but Noel said they’re running late and might take at least 3 hours for the maintenance service. No problem - Uber took me home and picked me up very promptly when the service was done. Very satisfied customer here.

Alex and the service manager were both excellent to work with, but my experience with the first service advisor was extremely disappointing. I didn’t catch her name—she was an older white brunette—but from the moment she got into my car and asked what brought me in, her tone felt dismissive. I recently had a quick oil change done elsewhere since I drive fewer than 2,000 miles a year. During that visit, I was told my battery showed a low-voltage code and might need to be replaced. Because I had the battery replaced at Northridge Toyota in October 2023 and believed it was still under warranty, I called the service department to schedule an appointment and explained the situation. I was told the battery was still covered under warranty, so I brought the car in to have it tested. When I arrived, the advisor turned the car on and noted that no warning lights appeared. She asked when I had last been in, and I told her October 2023. At that point, her attitude shifted noticeably. She questioned who told me about the battery issue and suggested that the oil change location was probably just trying to sell me a new battery. I explained that this was exactly why I brought the car to Toyota—because the battery should still be under warranty and I wanted it properly checked. She then informed me that they couldn't just take someone else's word for it and I would need to pay $240 for a multi-point inspection in order for them to test the battery. I asked why the battery couldn’t simply be tested on its own and why this requirement hadn’t been mentioned when I scheduled the appointment. She told me that the only way they would test the battery was through the paid inspection and asked how I wanted to proceed. Since I only wanted the battery tested and was not interested in paying for an inspection that hadn’t been disclosed beforehand, I chose to leave. While I was there, I had a scheduled meeting with Pierre in sales to discuss the upcoming 2026 RAV4 and its expected availability for test drives. After that meeting, I spoke with the service manager to express my concerns about the advisor’s conduct. Ultimately, my battery was tested, and I appreciated the manager’s assistance in resolving the issue. However, the initial interaction left a lasting negative impression. I wasn’t asking for a free battery or unnecessary work—only for a warranty-covered item to be checked. Unfortunately, that experience makes me reluctant to do business with this dealership-where I've been a customer since 2015-in the future.

I am not appreciative of the facts that it's being reported on my service that my tires were rotated and that I have a spare tire that was checked. I marked my tires to test if they would be rotated and they were not. For a first time Toyota care service I would have expected to be serviced properly. This is ridiculous ****.

Amazing customer service. He listened to my concerns, addressed them and even spoke with the manager to get my truck repaired with a small discount which meant alot to me. Definitely going back even though this location isn't close to my house. Its worth it when they care about you!
