I called to make an appointment to install a catalytic converter protector for two of my cars. One is a 2021 Honda Accord. Second one is a 2006 Honda Accord. I was first quoted $210. After I dropped off my 2021 Accord I got a call saying that it's going to be $570. I was very much taken aback but since my car was already there I gave the go-ahead. Then I got a call back saying that my model does not need a protector after all. I basically wasted the whole day taking my car in negotiating the price and having nothing done. I asked about the 2006 Accord, then I was quoted the price of $460. The whole pricing system sounds very dishonest.
