I made the appointment a week in advance for a recall that I was told was always replaced. On the day of the appointment, after the technician checked, there was no part in stock and I would have to come back.
I have worked in vehicle service, and when an appointment was made for a specific repair, I made sure the parts were set aside for the repairs to made.
I live 55 minutes from this particular Bev Smith Kia, because I did not like service at the Bev Smith Kia near Oslo.
I was told that the recall replacement part was not in stock, and they should have it on Tuesday, so I could come back Tuesday and it would only take ten minutes, or I could go to the other Kia and they can replace it if they have it in stock.
My time is important, as I well know yours is. I do not have time during the week to traipse down to a dealership that may or may not have the part that I need.
I am still driving around in a vehicle that, according to the recall letter, could at any moment burst into flame.
Came in for an oil change and mirror July 2021. We had dropped off the car drove 25 minutes home. Got notice it was ready they're done. Got there and were told a light was on and a nail was found in the tire
Light wasn't on prior. Unanticipated extra cost and wait.
Mirror had to be ordered July 2021.. We were told the motor could be put into the current silver mirror housing.
No communication 8 months waiting it r a part we called to check on to find it arrived but no call.
We brought the car up and left it there. They called later the next day and we were notified the mirror didn't match the car and they felt the old mirror casing would break if they tried to swap out motors. We were told it would take 3 to 7 days to send out for paining. It took about 10.
Spoke to Kia store higher up. He assigned a team. That kinda fell through. I was thankful he took the time to speak with us.
Finally in March 2022 the mirror was installed however it was missing the small round secondary mirror we brought it in with. We are notifying you of this now.
The last agent on our wednesday was pleasant. He helped. Jacob or Jason?
Also found the mandatory mask sign posted. Unfortunately only myself and 80% of customers wear.
There are substantial hold times and dropped calls.
Time wasted driving is costly.
Not a positive experience.
