Purchased Certified Pre-owned 2019 Sportage 2 months ago, and my car is already having issues (unable to start the car, engine light on the dashboard). I wonder whether the dealer even inspected the car before selling it to me. When I called the service on 8/19, I was asked to drop off my car to the dealership on 9/1, even when I expressed my concern that this may be urgent issue. My request for a rental car was also declined. Later in the evening, I was unable to start my car at all, and I called AAA for tow in. There was very minimal communication from the representative and most of them are through text messages. No apologies, no detailed debriefing on inspection/repair. I'm extremely unhappy with my purchase and service from this dealership. I'm considering filing complaints to the state and federal consumer protection offices.
