I was not told ahead of time that the service total was going to be $200. I also wasn’t aware that the services weren’t completely covered under my lease agreement since the car was over 25,000 miles (but that is my fault for not realizing it wasn’t covered) The only thing that he mentioned was that the air filter would be due to be changed since the car was at 30,000 miles, He said that he mentioned that this was $85, but I did not hear him say this, nor did I hear him say any part where I would owe any money. I still think that the service attendant could have told me what the total cost of services rendered would be PRIOR to starting the work. I cannot afford to put $200 into the car for service, when I could have easily taken it to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, air filter change, and tire rotation and saved some money. If I had known that the oil change, tire rotation and air filter change would have come to $200 then I never would have agreed to have the services done in the first place.
