I received a letter stating dealers are stocked with the necessary parts for a recall and to call and make an appointment. I was told the parts needed to be ordered. I never received a confirmation the parts were in. After close to a month I called to find out the status of the ordered parts only to be told they have been in for a while. An appointment was made for the following week. I brought my vehicle in at 8:00 am. At 4:00 I called and was told my repairs were not completed. Due to a heavy work load, I had to leave my car overnight. Apparently no need to make an appointment because of too many appointments being made, I couldn’t get my repairs completed in the 4-6 hours as quoted.

Since I set foot at Ford Santa Margarita , when purchased the Explorer , to the first service , it is a Custmer oriented well trained staff all the way Miguel took care of me and the explorer with passion and respect , it goes without saying all the Technical team the back ( good job) Congrats Managment

I asked for the tech to investigate a heating issue. The paperwork that came back suggested I should replace the blower motor. I asked to speak with the tech at my checkout and the service rep (not Clare, she had stepped away) was hesitant to go back and see if the tech was available, he clearly didn’t want me to speak with the tech. He reluctantly agreed to go back and see if the tech was available, and when he came back he said sorry the tech was too busy. It was very clear to me that the tech never had a chance to investigate my heater issue. The blower motor is brand new and works great. I would encourage your service managers to follow through with customer requests or if not, tell the truth about what happened. This is my first encounter with your dealership and my trust at least with your service department is already broken. It will be interesting to see if there is any follow up from the dealership with me.
