I have purchased many vehicles from 5 Corners and have always been happy with my salesman Bill Seeger he’s the best salesman I’ve ever worked with and the service department has always been great also. But today I had an oil change and tire rotation and when I received my paperwork and I was was charged for a drain plug issue, 5 corners has done every oil change done on my vehicles and if there was an issue with the drain plug or seal it should have been replaced at no charge to me. It was ultimately removed from my bill but I now have concerns that if the plug was damaged was there possibly also damage done to the oil pan or engine. I’m not a mechanic so I don’t know if there could possibly be future issues with oil leaking on my garage floor. Do I now have to worry about running out of oil damaging my engine? The whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth, how do you charge for a damaged plug when you are the only one touching it not to mention the vehicle is still under warranty. If drain plugs only last 4 oil changes then Jeep has a problem. I’ve bought 7 or 8 vehicles from 5 Corners in the last 10 years and have never felt as let down and disappointed as I did today. It’s just sad that someone would let a $13 part ruin what to this point has been a good relationship between us. I drive past two dealerships to buy and service my vehicle at 5 Corners for a reason and today made me rethink that decision.
Matt is very helpful and accommodating. He tries extra hard when doing everything. I’ve known Matt since he started at Five Corners and he is a great asset!
Sign on the door requires masks but most people in the facility were not wearing a mask. Oil change was quoted to be 30 min, took nearly 60 after much questioning and follow up.
