Dropped off car for 8:30 appt. Was going to wait but ended up leaving it there because of a power trunk issue that needed to be looked at AGAIN (wasn’t fixed from previous service visit). I got dropped off at 11:30 and was then told my car was done. So first issue, why wasn’t I called? I then asked if the trunk was fixed and they said it was working fine. I was skeptical since for 8 months straight it has not worked. When the car was pulled up I asked the technician to open the trunk. He tried and of course on the first try it didn’t open. And then he tried a few more times and then it finally opened. Then a manager came out to see and of course it didn’t work. So was anything even looked? Why did I leave for 3 hours? I needed my car in the afternoon so I could wait around more to have it actually looked at this time. I now have to come back and waste another day and more hours to have the same issue looked at a third time. Maybe I’ll have better luck the third time if not I will never return and take my business elsewhere.

Customer service Raul is an asset to Norm Reeves. I handle my Arteon with kid gloves and stupidly hit the side of tire against curb. I did not have an appointment, explained my concern knowing I was driving to San Diego in the morning, Raul checked availability and suggested I return later, 2:00 car could be serviced, returned, car tires rotated, ready to check out and was told no charge. I purchased my vehicle from South County Volkswagen, however have used your dealership for service, everyone I have encountered there has demonstrated exceptional customer service.
Raul is always friendly and knowledgeable. However, I did not receive the report of my multi point inspection. The invoice states that it was performed but no inspection results were handed over to me (as they usually are when it’s performed).
My appointment information did not transfer to the service department’s computer even after Mr. Escamilla inputted my information directly into the front desk’s computer. My car sat at the dealership for 24 hours without being touched when I was promised I would have it back by the afternoon of the appointment day. Fortunately, the workers are nice and easy to work with, so that made the experience a little easier. Just the system organization needs to be a little more thorough.
Service dept fit me in on very short notice and did a great job!
