After clarification of how labor hours are charged and explanation of required warranty approval before car considered ready for release to customer.
Suggest that when warranty service is involved, customer be advised at check in, or as soon thereafter, that while the service may be completed, the vehicle cannot be considered complete until dealer receives approval by warranty provider.
Better initially communication can avoid questioning of timing and the service provided.

I have been bringing my 2007 Highlander for 5 years and now my 2012 Highlander for 8 years in for service and have dealt with Bo many of those visits.
He is so professional and explains everything so well. In my 13 years bringing my car to Hartford Toyota I feel they never tried to sell me any service I didn’t need that could wait until the next service. That is why I will purchase my next Toyota at Hartford Toyota. But I still love my 2012 131,000 mile Highlander now that is has been serviced and new tires. I enjoyed my new ride home today.
