My 2019 VW Jetta GLI 35th anniversary edition has 4K miles and is 8 months old and I was told I had to pay $400 for new rotors since I left it parked for a couple of days and humidity caused rust to mess them up. I was told to go back to the dealer were I purchased the car to see if they would fix it under warranty. I was on my way to pick up my car and then received a call from Ciro letting me know that they would fix the problem for $80. This is my first VW and it is completely unacceptable to have a dealer tell me that leaving my car parked caused the problem, especially since I live 5 miles away from the dealer. I have owned dozens of cars from makes such as Toyota, Ford, BMW and Mercedes and never had this type of issue with a brand new car. Very poor quality and very poor customer experience with my first service. I hope this message gets forwarded to VW headquarters so they address the poor quality and poor service from their product and dealership.
