Dave was fantastic! Explained everything well and setup my next appointment. Even took my car through the carwash for me.
Since the service manager was very apologetic about losing my car last time, and offered a free oil change to make up for the 85 minutes of my wasted day, I was ready to give Newark Toyota the benefit of the doubt. I scheduled my car to get four new tires. Four hours after I dropped it off, I was called and told that my tires were not in stock. This is an essential detail that needs to be added into the scheduling of buying tires. I had a rental car, so it was not a huge inconvenience to wait 3 days. As I was picking up my car, a customer walked out and exclaimed, "Good luck. They lost my car and never performed my service." A service advisor rolled his eyes and pretended to slap the back of her head as she exited. I was appalled at how unprofessional and flippant he was. I made sure to inform him, and the rest of the waiting room who witnessed it, that my car had also been lost, and this seems to be a concerning new pattern. It is disheartening to know that when Newark Toyota makes a mistake, they ridicule the customer instead of taking steps to rectify it. This is not an isolated incident and a huge departure from the way Newark Toyota has conducted business in the past.
A/c leak could not be found so I’m recharging on my own. Service rep asked if I wanted to get a quote but have heard nothing. Also wasn’t updated while waiting on repair while others were. Had to go find someone to get updated after I saw my car was finished and waiting in checkout line.
Dave is super nice and very helpful and knowledgeable about service recommendations
While we were waiting to get our car after the repair, your front desk man handed me an envelope and told me it was an offer to buy our car. I told him I didn't want it as I was tired of the e-mails and letters I had already received and tried to give it back to him and he told me he couldn't take it so I ripped it up then and there.
If a customer doesn't want something, don't try to force them to take it!!!
The technician provided great service and The maintenance was competed quickly.
Luis was great. He was attentive and personable. The job was done in the time quoted and at the same price as estimated. Winwin all around.
