I’m glad you asked me about my experience with Lem’s service today. He met me cordially and professionally. He was very clear about what I wanted done…listened and perfectly adjusted to what I questioned. I was once a Service Writer-I can recognize when the garage/the mechanics and the front desk/customer service are working in good coordination. That is the case now, at last, for Big Island Motors. He is by far the best Service Manager I’ve encountered—you’re lucky to have him.
Liked the text messages. However I did ask for the tire sensor be checked and it wasn’t.

Short wait time and enjoyed the service of shuttle
Len was great. He listened and kept me updated on the work being done.
My husband was told it would be an hour or less. It took two hours so he was a little upset it took so much longer than he was told. 2 hours seems super long for an oil change
Service staff and shuttle staff were very friendly and helpful.
I came in for a scheduled first 6000 miles service. I arrived prior to the appointment time of 1:30 for what should have been 1/2 hour service and was told it would be 1 1/2 hours, as they were backed up.
I chose to wait rather than shuttled back and forth to work. When the 1 1/2 came I was notified that I wasn’t forgotten and it would be just awhile longer, which was 20 more minutes.
I’ll be back in about 2 months for the next 6000 mile service, hopefully the scheduling is better.
Otherwise everyone was pleasant and good to work with.
Clifford made the whole process seamless and comfortable. Will be back for the next service. Mahalo.
It appears the tune up was great.
I am old and hanicapped. Three hours seems an awfully long time. for me to wait for the service. I live in HPP. One year a man that worked at BIM picked up my car on his way into work and dropped it off on his way home. Unless we can arrange this kind of thing next year, I will have to go elsewhere for my service. Other than the wait time, BIM has been a good company to work with!
