Friendly and efficient. Not happy with having to pay for a system that was replaced 2 years ago but that isn’t the fault of Big Island Motors. Service personnel were excellent.

My service plus changing of 4 new tires took longer than I expected. I also noticed that once in the car the indicator light came on for low pressure. I would have hoped that the tech would have checked the tire pressure sensor at the same time he changed the tires. But that was not the case, and now I have to come back to change them. Also I couldn’t contact anyone in the service dept to confirm my appointment. I had to call the sales ofc and they emailed the service dept. something seems to be disconnected here. Anyway, our family owns severa business in Hawaii. I would like to continue to use local services. As we hope the same for our business. But it’s getting difficult. Please help train or retrain your staff.

Everyone worked together to get my car reply so I could get home and communicated well with me throughout the 8 hours that I waited for everything to get done. When I picked up my car for service that was covered by the warranty, no one came out to show me that it worked or make sure that it worked. They just gave me the keys and I left and well it doesn’t work. I can play music and make phone calls on bluetooth but now when I plug in my iPhone, it doesn’t even charge my phone and it no longer connects to CarPlay. Please call me ****-****-xxxx to schedule a follow up. Mahalo, Beth

My car is losing oil. I stated that I put 2 quarts of oil in my car last week after 3 months and less than 3000miles driven. The tech stated he wiped oil residue from the valve cover and timing cover and stated there was no oil leak. They didn’t check spark plugs for oil. They stated they ran the car on idle and saw no leak so stated that there was no oil leak. Not the case! Oil in vehicles just doesn’t disappear you are either burning oil or you have an oil leak. I was recommended having an oil change at the end of the month and start and oil consumption test. I don’t take kindly to being told “your car uses oil”. Yes, I am aware my car uses oil but oil become darker and darker as it is used it doesn’t disappear from the vehicle. There is less than 50k miles on my car and every service has been at this dealership. I have always been very pleased with the service and workmanship. My last two visits have not been less than stellar.
