I am grateful for the one time complimentary oil change that is rather common for every dealership to offer after purchasing or leasing a car. I’ve given my good business to Nissan and feel in return I’ve been neglected as a client. I scheduled to come in and have my oil changed along with battery charged or replaced and potentially help replacing the bulb in my headlight. I asked if they could do it and was told yes. I clearly asked the representative to please just let me know if they couldn’t- ahead of time since I had to go to work after and would be driving in the dark later (without headlight = traffic ticket) nearly an hour and a half went by and I was told it’s done, but we couldn’t replace the bulb, I asked why and was told the mechanic didn’t want to but would do it for $100. Which I replied ok? I have a $100 but why didn’t you tell me earlier so he could get to working on it? Then was told he went off to lunch..I asked you guys at least charge the battery? And was told “yea yea” I had to go to work so I left, before leaving I checked under the hood. The battery wasn’t even touched and I was signaled by LoJack later that night about low battery as well as pulled over by the police. I ended up changing the light on my own with YouTube video in the morning. I have considered expressing this experience over yelp but since the general manager had been so kind to me when I leased my vehicle back in November, I decided not to. However I will never return to this establishment again.
