First time getting my car serviced since purchasing it. I had the 69.00 oil change coupon. I went to the dealer because I had a question re how to set up the code on the exterior of the car so I can leave key in the car. The service writer explained I would be charged 39.00 as I didn’t actually purchase my car from lincoln dealer. It was the charge to put it on a computer. Granted I did purchase my 2028 MKC from a local lot but I’m still driving a newer Lincoln model snd should be getting the Lincoln service. I think you call it the Lincoln way. So the 69.00 coupon I ended up paying 114.00.
Also the car I traded in on the Lincoln was a Lexus IS250. Lexus would have never done this. They always had time to help me with any questions I had. Also I was always given a loaner car if I chose. Also there waiting room was awesome. Free warm cookies hot popcorn and drinks. Lincoln editing room was freezing snd very uninviting. My neighbor did tell me there is a Lincoln Lounge there but no one at the dealership informed me of this. I waited 2 hours for my car although I had an appt. I think it’s very busy there as one dealership does Lincoln, Ford snd Mazda. I thought Lincoln was considered a luxury car but maybe I’m wrong. But the service was very good other then the things I addressed

Service tech Woody was polite and efficient. However our Certified car after ozone treatment (yes, the car has been aired out for several days now) still has an odd odor to it. This is unacceptable for a $31k, 1-year-old car that we bought because it was Certified. The car needs a complete interior shampoo or steam cleaning. My wife cannot drive it without an allergic reaction. VERY dissatisfied so far.
