My first visit to your service department was the kind of experience every car owner hopes to have.:-) Thanks to my Service Advisor, Dennis Espinosa, Every item was considered, reviewed and then performed. We drove home confident that our Forestor was serviced to high professional standards--in my estimation, that experience was a reflection of the thought and care that Kirby (the organization) is giving to each customer throughout the life of their relationship, from sales to routine service. I switched over to Kirby in the hope I would receive professional service--We got nothing less. What a driving comfort that is.

Today was my last complimentary check. Gabriella showed me a list of my check ups and helped me with information to follow up on for future visits to keep my car in good running order and maintained properly. Gabriela was great, actually better than that. Attentive, concerned, genuine. Much appreciated. Lady at cashiers desk, behind the glass/not so much. When I was informed that I needed a loaner-had to provide docs, read rules/sign docs, I asked why all this was necessary/was informed rather directly “recalls always take four hours”, I then asked with that in mind, why had I not been informed of that when I made the reservation 10 days previously, she shot back-well did you do this online? She was putting this on ME, from that point on I was some how(?) on the defensive. While not really combative, she never owned any of this. I am self employed, time really is money. I would have scheduled earlier in day of course had I known. Better for everybody concerned. I was called 2:30 next day to say my car was being washed & I could come right down-live in Ojai. I waited at least 30 mins maybe more. AFTER I got there. So one hour from phone call. My take on all of this? Something is wrong with internal structure. And great people like Gabriella can only cover so far. I don’t write things like this often and these are trying times for sure and for everybody, but this interaction could have gone better, and the not-so good stuff was completely avoidable, lady behind the glass needs an attitude adjustment, but I bet you already know what I am talking about. The work on the car by the way was excellent and reasonably priced.
Loaner car crosstrek. Very nice ride BUT the radio ALWAYS on when you start the car is a total deal breaker. Thanks for the opportunity to comment!!
The service technician went above and beyond for just a simple recall appointment. Service like I received today will make me a Subaru owner for life. Subaru is such a great company!
