I brought my CRV into the dealership because of an acceleration issue. My service advisor, Brandon Son, took the initiative to run an engine leak down test (at no charge to me) to determine the issue was related a loss of compression in all cylinders. I returned to the dealership to discuss options and mentioned I have repair coverage through Fidelity Warranty. Brandon again took the initiative to work with Fidelity to get approval for the engine repair.
Initially, Fidelity claimed there was no issue based on the test results provided and denied our request. Brandon remained diligent and scheduled another inspection the following week. Again, Fidelity denied our claim for the same reason. This prompted Brandon to schedule another inspection but this time ordered a tear down diagnosis to provide concrete evidence of the compression issue (again, at no charge to me). After a couple weeks, Fidelity sent out an inspector and finally approved our request. Brandon then ordered all the necessary parts and worked with the technicians on the repair.
The whole process ended up taking 5-6 weeks and I am certain my CRV would not have been repaired with Brandon’s involvement. He showed genuine interest in getting my CRV repaired and made sure to keep me informed at every step of the process through phone call or text.
I am more than pleased with the outcome and, in large part because of my experience working with Brandon, I intend to bring my vehicles back to this dealership for maintenance and service.
