About a month ago, I brought my 2017 Honda Accord to Freeway Honda, located at 1505 Auto Mall Drive, Santa Ana, and reported a very specific issue: the engine intermittently fails to start. I spoke directly with service advisor Hector Gonzalez, explained the problem clearly, and expected a proper diagnostic and repair.
Instead of addressing the engine-starting issue I came in for, I was charged $1,712.66 for mileage-related maintenance I did not authorize. The original problem remains unresolved—my car still fails to start at times, just as before.
I returned to the service center today, only to be told I now need to pay an additional $1,000 to address the same issue I initially brought to their attention. This is unacceptable. Hector did not fix the issue I reported, nor is he taking responsibility for the miscommunication and incorrect service. I feel misled and overcharged, with no resolution after already spending a substantial amount.
I am requesting that Honda intervene immediately and ensure this issue is corrected without additional cost to me. I have already paid more than enough for a problem that still exists.
Please assign someone responsible at Honda to look into this matter and help resolve it appropriately.
