I scheduled my appointment nearly 2 weeks in advance for a time that worked for me. I showed up for my appointment and the service lobby was very busy. I waited my turn to check in which is fine then I was explained that the express service was very backed up and they had 5 cars in front of me and only one person doing service. They stated they had walk-ins. I live alone in the metro and therefore scheduled my appointment so I can could get my service completed when it worked for me. I arrived at approx 4:10 and checked in my vehicle at 4:17 for my 4:30 appointment however my car sat waiting for someone to have the time to service it until after 5:30 pm. If you have a scheduled appointment my expectation is that the walk in services get completed around your scheduled appointments and not that they then push back my appointment over an hour. Otherwise you were well aware of this backup when I arrived so take a moment to send me a text or phone call to let me know how backed up you are and that you can either come wait an hour, reschedule or just show up a little late. Additional my car was not ready until after closing time and when I checked in the employee I worked with stated if anything needed attention they would come check with me if I wanted to complete the needed service. After my car was already finished they let me know that my engine filter needed immediate service. Had they told me while they were completing my oil change I would have asked them to just complete it then. I do not plan to come back to this Honda location after having discussions with coworkers and then having similar waits when they have scheduled appointments.
