The 12-v battery was changed. I was gonna open the hood last Saturday, 2 days after just to see the new battery when I noticed the hood release lever is not working.

The service by Alex was excellent, but my car was returned to me in a condition that was not completely satisfactory. Front passenger seat was completely reclined and my side mirror was pushed inward. So before I could drive out, I had to adjust the recliner and my side mirror.

I went in for oil change, tire rotation, and new front brakes. I got a call at 4ish saying I have a nail in my tire and it's not repairable and that I should take it back to the Toyota dealership that installed my tires because the warranty wouldn't cover the tire if I had it installed at Roseville Toyota. So I called my normal Toyota dealership in South Lake Tahoe to ask for help and they informed me that my tire warranty works at any Toyota dealership. At 4:21 I received a call back from Roseville Toyota, informing me my vehicle was done, but not to drive around on the tire too much. I informed them of what I learned, that my warranty does work at their dealership. The gentleman I was speaking with (forgot his name) agreed and then stated it had something to do with the company doing an employee meeting the next few days and that if I wanted it done by them it might not be done until 6pm that day. I said that is fine. I really needed my tire replaced as I had plans to drive out of state on Monday. The guy gave me some long story as to how they might not even get my warranty to cover the tire and they might not even find that out until 6pm. It was so frustrating and made no sense as to why they couldn't just put on a new tire. So I said I would find someone else to do it (which turned into a huge hassle to bring it to another dealership and wait and wait again. Anyways, when I went to pick up my truck, the guy that was helping me pay mentioned that he was under the impression I was leaving my vehicle longer to get the tire installed. He then mentioned that the guy servicing my vehicle had literally told him he didn't want to stay to wait for my vehicle to get done. I feel like I received horrible customer service. I paid $500 for brakes and oil change, not cheap, but usually worth it to stick with Toyota. I will never go back to Roseville Toyota again. It truly appears that my vehicle was not serviced (tire replaced) because the gentleman in charge of my vehicle didn't want to deal with it at end of day. I get that, not fun. But it is not safe to drive around with a tire that has a nail in it, especially when the guy told me not to drive on it.

I asked for a couple of add-ones after manufacture; service technician researched and found that Toyota does not offer these, but gave me a starting point for my own research. Very much appreciated the assistance he provided.
