The representatives were not polite or professional nor did the rep disclose the diagnostic fee up front. I had to ask before I unfortunately had to decline some services. People always say, “Don’t take your car to the dealer for maintenance,” and unfortunately this experience solidified that statement. We brought it in for a recall but the lack of quality customer service made for an unpleasant experience. I was mistaken about the recall and when I asked if the warning light was due to the recall, the reps attitude and tone in his answer made me feel like I was stupid. It was as if my service was disrupting their morning. A smile, a warm greeting and causal pleasantries would go a long way when people already seek maintenance elsewhere. Service matters not just repairs. The guy at the drive up wasn’t any better. “Can you move your car over there because we’re busy here.” He could’ve said that a lot more professionally or even offered to move it. This was just unfortunate all around. Hopefully customer service can improve especially when competition is everywhere and dealerships are already known to have higher prices. What’s going to set you apart with returning customers is how you treat them and not solely the prices you charge.
Trevor was friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. He kept me updated on my car throughout the day and clearly explained everything that was completed when I picked it up. I also appreciated that he didn't try to upsell services I didn't need. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be requesting Trevor as my service advisor in the future.
I needed to have a recall service completed in order to register the car with the DMV and they got it done in just a few hours.
I was also happy to be able to have the proper service done in that same timeframe!
