Dear Hampton Toyota Service Department,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the experience I had during my recent visit to your service center.
I had a scheduled appointment on July 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM for a routine 20,000-mile oil change and tire rotation. Despite the nature of this being a standard service, I did not leave your facility until 6:15 PM. By the time my vehicle was ready, the service doors were already closed, which only added to the frustration of an unnecessarily long wait.
Waiting over three hours for a basic scheduled service is unacceptable. I understand that unexpected delays may occur; however, there was no communication provided to explain the reason for such an extensive delay, nor any updates throughout the wait. As a loyal customer who has chosen Hampton Toyota for service based on previous experiences, this visit was disappointing and far below the level of professionalism and efficiency I expect.
I hope you will review your scheduling and customer communication processes to ensure other customers do not encounter a similar experience in the future.

I was told ahead of time that it would take longer than normal and offered to change appointment to another day. I kept this appointment and was kept informed of progress on my vehicle. I appreciate the way Leslie handled the problem of a longer service time.
