Well…safety warnings on dash say see dealer. Was told could be misalignment with cameras etc due to broken grill by bumper. Suggested I see body shop bc yall would charge 1000 to take apart and that might not be problem. Just felt it could be fixed at dealership

We made an appointment on Tuesday for a 7:30 am on Wednesday. We arrived at approximately 7:15 am and Leslie quickly took our information and explained what needed to be done on our new RAV4. We proceeded to the waiting area. After waiting 1 & 1/2 hours, we checked with Leslie and she apologized for the delay. We had some how been moved to the back of the line. After a 2 hour wait, Leslie explained the procedures given to our car, set up a schedule for the coming year and informed us of her conversation with the financial officer about when to purchase a maintenance and extended warranty for our vehicle. We finally left the facility. Upon returning to our now serviced car, we noticed that the seat had been adjusted and not returned to the original position. We also notice that the cargo net was not reconnected to its fasteners and the dashboard seen between the steering wheel had been changed and not reconfigured to the owner’s original dashboard. Do we think that the service was exceptional - no we don’t. The wait was entirely too long and the vehicle should be returned to us in its original status. Leslie did her job beyond being friendly, helpful, understanding and supportive. She was very helpful, cordial, competent and friendly. We appreciate her customer service demeanor and helpfulness. She is/was not the problem. Someone on the service floor failed to meet their commitments to honor our appointment time and restitution of the interior of our vehicle. We have used Hampton Toyota many times in the past with our RAV4 we purchased from them. But if this is the type of service we can expect since we didn’t purchase this vehicle from them, then we will consider taking the service of our vehicle to another dealership.

The service provided was excellent, however, my complaint is that Toyota took 6 months to provide the second key fob. These should not be the norm as once the vehicle is sold they should be able to provide the key fob in a reasonable time frame.

Trent’s service was exceptional; but, the scheduling of the complete appointment needs was not satisfactory. Evidently Tammy was interrupted by another customer’s needs and did not schedule the requested 43,000 mile tire rotation and especially the needed oil and filter change. Jim expected the service department to completely handle the appointment I had made. He has very short term memory loss and that is why he did not inquire why there was not a charge of $25 for the oil and filter change. Trent rescheduled the missed service for Thursday, September 19 at 12 noon. Thank you for understanding. Katy Réaux, Jim’s wife

In a miscommunication between Hampton employees, I was being charged for something I didn’t need nor ask for. I questioned the unauthorized charged, and $21.00 dollars was deducted from invoice for full tire rotation. Poor customer service in my opinion!
