It turned into a long day due to the fact we needed new tyres. They were not in stock at the time and had to be delivered from another company. One of the employees went above and beyond to have our wheels aligned at a different auffenberg building. Our service representative was very helpful.

Auto Butler did a great job. New rear brakes cost more than expected because the rotors were too rusty to turn. Don’t know why the rear rotors were too rusty ?? On a 2017 Titan with only 33,000 miles not taken off road other than on grass, and not driven through water except normal rain. This Titan is a great truck, and I’ve taken real good care of mine. I was completely satisfied with my service on 11/09/2021. However not satisfied with my Sevice on 11/1/2021. I took my car in for an oil change, recall issue, and was notified I needed front breaks. I agreed to get the breaks put on but upon picking up my car, the breaks sounded terrible… almost like a large semi truck trying to stop or metal rubbing against metal. I called and was told, “That sometimes happens. Go to an empty parking lot where it’s safe, go up to 20/25 mph and make a hard stop. That should fix it. If that doesn’t work bring it in.” Please understand that both my husband’s car and my car were both at the shop at the same time. We didn’t have a car and had to borrow my in laws car. The fact that something was wrong and I was told to “drive in a parking lot” didn’t sit right. After hearing the noise over and over, I made an appointment and was scheduled for 11/9/2021 at 12pm. I didn’t work with the same advisor. This advisor was more friendly thank my previous advisor, and he explained a lot. Upon figuring out the issue with my newly replaced breaks, he found that the breaks were defective and explained they had rust or something on them and that they’d be sent back to Nissan to find out how or why that happened. I’m thankful that the problem was figured out and that there was no charge. However, I have two children, 5 and 8. I have them in my car literally all the time. If my breaks were defective, what if I couldn’t stop and crashed and something happened to my children or myself??? It’s very disheartening that these breaks were not inspected before being put onto my card. Thank GOD He gave me the mind to call in and get an appointment. Because I had just listened to the previous advisor and drove in a parking lot to make it stop and then just kept driving, me and my kids could’ve been lying in the side of the road somewhere or even mangled in wreckage. Thank you to the second advisor whom I worked with on 11/9/2021. He was thorough and I truly appreciate him!

Of course I was not pleased to learn that Auffenberg does not deal with CarShield. They informed me this morning that I will not be reimbursed. I feel injured, even though I accept that all repairs must be pre-authorized. I let my fear of malfunctioning brakes get the best of me. In hindsight, I could have called CarShield to locate another repair shop. As for Auffenberg’s service, I felt very well attended to by the service rep. Also, I appreciated the Manager’s agreeing to fix the noisy places on the heat shields without charge. Thanks to all of you.

My car doesn’t have any oil left in it after driving it today. What did you do to it???? And there’s oil all over the engine dripping off the inside of the hood. It was smoking and my patients wife told me I left oil in her driveway. When I got home I checked the dipstick and THERE IS NO OIL. NOW IT WILL JAVE TO BE TOWED INTO A DEALER.
