Communication seems to be lacking. 1. The loaner we received had a very strong maple syrup smell. I noticed whenever we were driving I would get headaches and my daughters (age 5 & 7) would both complain of nausea. When my 7 year old ran for a trash can after getting out of the car, I googled and saw that a syrup smell is a problem with a coolant leaking. I called the dealership first thing Monday morning and had to leave a voicemail to make them aware of the issue, told them it was making my family sick, and asked if I could swap out the loaner. I never received a call back. My 7 year old was dry heaving over a trash can at a gas station today before I dropped it off. I made them aware of the situation again and the lack of phone call back today and was told “sorry. We will get that looked at so the next person doesn’t have this issue.” 2. My husband requested an oil change when he initially scheduled the appointment. I had to remind them of this when they said my car was ready 6 days later. Just overall disappointed and feel that the customer service was not in line with what we have experienced at other dealerships.

In the ending statements there is a “list of recommendations, but not performed.” Before leaving, the customer could be told about the recommendations and discuss when or why they should really be attended to at a future date. The service time was lengthy due to an arrival of an unusual amount of incoming people requiring the Quick Lane. Regardless of the above statements, I was satisfied with the service.

My experience today at Island Lincoln was great! My car was serviced in the right amount of time estimated and Graham Ohlmann was very respectable, friendly and professional. I’m grateful to have a fine place to go to service my vehicle.
