I explained that it was an emergency situation: I needed a puncture in a tire fixed to get back to the west side. The foreign object (screw or nail) was in the middle of the tire, but was told it was too close to the edge and I had to get a new tire. This has happened before and KIA of North lmstead fixed it for $30.withiut trying to gouge me for more money.
