Andrew worked hard to meet my minimum expectations and did so by the end of my visit. However, I had made an appointment online with oil change, 5,000 service and some diagnostic work on a hesitation in the transmission when changing speeds. And the diagnostic definition of the problem was not accurately reflected on the ticket after I explained it. I arrived for my 9:00Am appointment 10 Minutes early and No one greeted me When I pulled up to the service line and it was more than 15 minutes past my appointment time before I was able to track my service Technician down or anyone else for that matter. I had documented all items needed In the appointment Request and that I would be waiting. I was then informed that I would have to leave the car. This was not acceptable service excellence. Someone should have looked at the service request notes Monday 2 days before My visit and then called me to let me know what was needed on Grapevine fords end. This did not happen, And I did Not have the opportunity to Make other arrangements. In fact, I witnessed the same occurrence for an older woman waiting in the waiting room as she had the same experience And had to Come back the next day which was so wrong!! I informed my service rep Andrew that I was prepared to wait from 9:15 until 2:00 before I called the general Manager Chaz Gilmore ToVoice my displeasure on my service experience. I had a similar experience on my initial service call within the first 30 days Of purchasing a $30,000 vehicle Andrew said he expedited the service experience and I was out the door in 90 minutes which I appreciated but he still made is seem like if was my fault and my issue. And should have left the car for the entire day. Then he mentioned that he had only received the switch in service reps Wednesday morning at which point I showed him the txt messages I received on the switch On Monday not 7:30 am Wednesday. And my service request items were clearly documented from the mobile appWhich he pulled up in his appointment calendar Since purchasing my vehicle nin November 2019, Both of My service experiences have been horrible And not positive At all. I have been extremely disappointed in The service at Grapevine ford. I hope that my next, third And maybe final Experience will be more positive or I Or Inwill have to will Find another ford dealership (5star or westway) for service And maybe also My next ford vehicle purchase. If you expect to Keep customers coming back And purchasing new cars, excite them And thrill them with exceptional customer service not the poor expectations I ha e experienced and that customers have after the sale of a very expensive consumer product. My sales experience was amazing but the service has been horrible which I have only posted the positive sales experience on socialMedia. I have owned ford products since I was 15 years old and now am 57 Years old. starting with a 1967 Galaxies 500, 4+ windstar’s and a ford excursion which had 300,000 miles on it And never have I had poor service experiences like at grapevine ford. Please give your customers an experience they can tell their friends And kids about and set the bar high for excellence in customer service after the sale......... We will come back and our kids will Come back too To purchase New vehicles My family of 4 children plus spouses currently owns 4 ford vehicles.
