I took my truck in for recall work Engine heater short circuit replacement, After driving it home and to San Diego I was stranded on the freeway at 2am truck completely dead wouldn’t even turn over i had the truck towed back to dealership and was told the fuse box on top of the battery was burnt out melted to plastic the only way this would happen is if you loosing the bolt and the cable for the heater circuit ran right next to the battery, Keep in mind I had no issues with my truck prior to the recall work they did. Then I was told by the dealership it had nothing to do with the work they did and it was going to cost me $380 dollars to fix my truck out of pocket. But honestly everyone knows before you do any work on a vehicle unplug the battery terminals and that’s where the issue started. I ended finding the GM factory part for $65 and 30 minutes of my time to replace the part dealerships are such a rip off. I will never take my truck to a dealership/this dealership not even for recall work they will never admit it was there fault all they would say is things happen, I would not recommend having your truck serviced/worked on here period Such a bad experience.

Would like to say the service I received at Tom Bell in Redlands has always been something each person I’ve come in contact with can brag about their place of work. Each employee has been so helpful and considerate. They treat you like a family member. Brian Benson, made sure all the final things were completed on my car. Also Luis made sure I understood exactly every question I asked him plus his knowledge about my truck was explained to be so I could understand it.
