There is something wrong with the “Walk Away Lock” feature in the 2016 Honda Pilots. I’ve read several forums online asking what the solution is. I’m surprised that Honda doesn’t even know. I was charged for a hard system reset, since they couldn’t figure it out. The feature still failed after not even a week with my car back. David Rosales was awesome in answering all of our questions and concerns and was very knowledgeable. He also deferred answering any questions that he was not knowledgeable about. He will be taking care of us when we return to get the walk away feature looked at again. I’m not looking forward to this visit since they didn’t even know what causes it to not work. This is obviously a bug and Honda should not charge their customers to have it fixed.

Honest, car was delivered at exactly the estimated time. Very polite guy and didn’t make me feel obligated to get additional services and after delivering my car, reminded me about the additional service needed which was important.

David is very professional and kept me informed during my service. He gave me a realistic time frame, and my car was done early. He explained everything along the way. The cashier, I believe her name was Stephanie, was kind of rude, though. Overall, very satisfied.

I’ve been making appointments since I bought my 2015 Honda Accord in September 2015. I stopped making appointments after 3 years since Buena Park Honda doesn’t honor them when one of their employees calls out of work and the appointment is “not on file” even with email proof. I had to wait almost 30 minutes before I myself had to even ask a Buena Park Honda representative what was going on with the “walk ins” at 7am when i was 2nd in line. My car wasn’t taken in until about 8:30am. For a walk in that’s insane. Then I met Giovanni and he helped ease the tension. I’m used to working with ex employees such as Eddie, Ricky, and Amit, who would always get me in and out but this time it was different. Maybe it’s because my 3 years are up with them? Either way, I’m only giving a good score for Giovanni but Buena Park Honda needs to have better communication skills when it comes to walk ins. I’ve been on both sides now officially and I would NEVER do a walk in again. I’d rather go to a different Honda dealership to get my services done if it’s gonna continue to be like that.

Service is pretty good even after I booked my appointment in the lat minute. I got my vehicle back in a decent time and service people did a good job explaining to me what they did and what my car needs.
