Customer service is not up to par. Today was a slow day but I was made to wait. After 15 min I went to see oscar Ramirez. That's when Giovanni attended to me. Shuttle service was only 1 way but nobody told me about it. I was made to wait till about 6pm. I went for a simple oil change at 1:30 and I was able to get my car at 6:00. In other words Honda service is not quality service.

Hugo N was attentive and satisfactory. He also sufficiently explained the issue w/ my car and what was done. The rest of my experience at Buena Park Honda Service Dept was the absolute worst from any dealership or repair shop in my life. 1) I was denied service at the counter when I arrived ("go outside and hang out next to your car and someone will help you"). Are you kidding me? 2) I waited 30 minutes and no one came to help. Every employee that walked by avoided eye contact. I looked at a screen mounted on the wall w/ my name on it and my appointment time, and it continued to say "not arrived" the entire time I was waiting. 3) I was asked to get back in my car and move my car forward. At any other service center, my car would've been checked in already, and a repairman would've driven my car away. 4) Service agents at the counter were making casual conversations w/ other customers (I guess they only speak to customers who are about to leave), standing around and checking their personal phones, etc. This is all the while I was ousted to "hang out next to my car" for 30 minutes. 5) Before any of this, I had an appointment made (but what good is that when you have to wait 30 minutes after arriving, and no one checks you in?) and even that was done incorrectly. When I got the e-mail confirmation, the appointment was made for a completely different service, and I had to edit it. Finally, I had to speak up and be the angry Asian man making a scene, at which point I waited around 15 more minutes until Hugo N came out and got my car taken care of. People have schedules and places to go when they drop off their cars in the morning. If your establishment has employees that can't respect their customers for even this simple fact then they don't deserve those customers, their job, nor any respect outside of said jobs. I'd do my best to avoid having to get serviced here or any other Sonic Automotive dealership in the future. You're basically everything wrong w/ auto repair, and even employee training in this day and age.

I thought that after spending almost $500 that the exterior would be washed. Did they eliminate that service??

The sales manager Ham set me up with Giovanni. He had my car checked for a tire pressure light that did not disappear. I was in and out with everything fixed and good to go. Thanks Giovanni!

Joanne always has my back when I go in to get my car serviced or tuned up. She works so hard to make sure I am satisfied and she is very communicative which I appreciate the most. She will always call and ask for my permission before starting anything. And for that I am appreciative!
