Flash Flood Hammers New Jersey Ford Dealership

A horrific flash flood has occurred in the city of Little Falls, New Jersey resulting in massive damage across the town and one car dealership in particular. Here at Ken Grody Ford Auto Repair Service of Buena Park, CA we give our deepest sympathies for both the town and Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge. There was little warning for the town before the rushing torrent slammed through areas of town, carrying nearly the entire stock of new vehicles from the dealership in tow. 

Unfortunately at the time of writing they're not out of danger yet. More evacuations have been ordered and there are renewed fears of further floods just as the town began to take stock of their losses. 

To make matters worse, many in the area blamed the dam-like pile of vehicles for further damage to the immediate neighborhood. Frank Esposito, owner of the Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Little Falls, told News 4  that he understands why nearby homeowners are upset by their flood damage, "but I didn't cause it. I was a byproduct of it." 

The blockage created by the 42 cars swept under Route 46 were reported to have created a wave that sent water into nearby homes. Locals have unfortunately begun to blame the dealership for damages to the area. Whether or not the car formation contributed to the flood conditions, hopefully the community will combine their efforts and put their energy toward cleanup and recovery efforts.
