Was told I needed a new engine or rebuild which would cost about $8,ooo, then I was told they needed to replace gasket cover, and oil pan, also replace spark plugs and hoses which would cost $1,400 and if that didn't solve the problem I would definitely need a new engine, I take very good care of my engine and I just had my spark plugs and hoses replaced in november at Pep boys which made me question there intentions ,also took three days to get a diagnosis from them, after repeated calls to find out what was going on with my truck they kept telling me the mechanic has more tests to run at the end of the 2nd day around 5pm they gave me the same response and told me they would call me the following day with a diagnosis, I then told them I would be picking my truck up in the morning and taking it somewhere else and within minutes they called me back with a diagnosis response. The next day I had my truck towed to another mechanic's shop and within an hour they called me and told me I had a miss fire in cylinder #1 due to a bad coil and 1 bad spark plug which would cost $565 to fix, what a big difference from Chevrolet's service centers diagnosis and cost, very disappointed, feels like I was getting hustled...

Already discussed with Mike Kennedy, the software update to fix my temperature control didn't resolve the issue. Mike and I agree I will return the vehicle for further investigation and next charges will be adjusted to offset the money paid today.
Thanks to Mike for working across departments (body shop and service) to take care of several issues in a single trip. Mike regularly exceeds expectations and is the reason I will only get my corvette serviced at City Chevrolet.

I do not feel as if it was Jillians doing, but I don't believe that on her off day her team members knew anything about the status of my card diagnostic. She handled everything very professional and was forthcoming with truthfullness. When I arrived she was busy and a team member helped her with my paper work and did most of the initial work. Upon her first contact with me she told me that the tech would need Saturday to work on the vehicle to assess the situation. Saturday I was not contacted and Sunday I was informed services Dept was closed when I drove into to try to pick up my car. Monday I was informed of that a diagnostic was still not completed. By Tuesday morning around 8 I received a the information I needed. While 5 days is a long time for a diagnostic to complete. I am more than pleased with her professionalism. For that I say thank you!!! I hope you guys have a great year

I was satisfied with the sensor replacement. The only thing that I am not satisfied with is the cleaning of the vehicle, which was not Jillian responsibility. Jillian did a great job by keeping me informed throughout the repair process. I am wondering if anything could be done about the smell in my vehicle. Thank you, Nicodemus
