I came in for scheduled maintenance. I also noted that we have had ongoing squeaking of the brakes even after spending a lot of money to replace them . Also we have had an ongoing problems with all of the windows failing to operate. While I am on a roll, ever since we purchased this Audi as well as our 2017 Q5, every time you go through a car wash, as you drive away water splashes out of the side mirrors and by time you get home, the entire side of the car has dried water spots.
When the service fellow called to give me an update he told me, service maintenance is complete, they looked at the brakes and there is plenty of pad left (really, they are almost brand new!) and the windows were working fine. He went on to say the technician noted that the battery failed a test and there was a small oil leak in the engine. Total cost would be $2100 for the oil leak and $750 for the battery.
I realize that repairing a car is difficult when, for example, non working windows now work when you come to the shop, but I guarantee you they are going to fail again. Same with the brakes. I thought when I spent over $100,000 on cars we would be driving exceptional quality. That does not appear to be the case. Maybe I should have bought a Ford?
I would love for someone from Audi to call and discuss.
