I would give my service agent Tim 5/5 for communication and attention to detail. He kept me updated and I would be more than happy to have him represent me in the future. Your company has a well oiled machine set up for dropping off cars for service. Very ‘valet style’
I’d give the balance 4.5/5. Why?
When I collected my car, I had dirt/dust marks from work boots on the floor mats driver side and a white substance on the seat.
Just little details that could easily be fixed and are the first thing a client sees when they go to get back into their car. It’s the small things that are noticed more often

Worst dealership service experience ever. Individual workers were very nice but your processes are awful. Your handoffs between teams take forever and the customer is left waiting for hours. I would rather drive an hour out of my way to another Lexus dealer than come to your place again. Truly awful. Bad place.

Brought my car in for my first oil change and to ask about the sticky dash and melting door panels. Was told to kick rocks about the dash and panels, which bummed me out as the car is a rare 6 speed and only has 44k miles, but that’s ok. The service writer had a first week employee shuttle me to work(less than a mile down the road) IN MY OWN CAR. I’m only writing this comment because he didn’t know how to drive it, left from a dead stop in second gear twice before I asked him what he was doing, and now my clutch slips. Very let down by my first Lexus experience. Writing this here and not on Google in hopes to be made right.

I have one suggestion for improvement. I was informed that my vehicle needed rotors machined flat and could have pads replaced, when the vehicle was “finished “ and ready for pickup (obviously it wasn’t). It would be helpful for the customer, if the inspection report was completed earlier and the customer informed before plans were in place to return the car. We had plans which were postponed and rescheduled in order for the recommended work to be completed. On a personal level, I was disappointed that Matthew was too busy to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, but instead asked another rep to “take care of us” (my words). Overall, completely satisfied with his performance. Just a couple of suggestions for greater customer service/satisfaction. Thanks, it’s been my pleasure having my car serviced at Lexus Escondido.
