The letter I received indicated that I would have a 40 minute wait to get my second key. When I arrived for my 2pm appointment I waited 30 minutes to see a service representative. She informed me it would be an 1 hour and a half to two hours to do the process. This should have been disclosed in the letter. Otherwise the service was fin.

I have been coming here for years to have my car serviced. It seems the quality of customer care has decreased post-covid. Anthony was great on the front end. In the past I always had the same service rep, someone who knew me and my car. Since she left I always get different people who sometimes contradict what the last person says. There was a complimentary drink while I waited. My car was brought around to me after servicing rather than being sent out to find it myself. Someone went over the findings when I came to pick up my vehicle, now I just read it. These seem like little things but they were the touch’s that make Lexus a brand I continue to enjoy. The air in the tires was low when I picked up the car and I had to drive it around. They were supposed to clean the engine and put a sealant on the engine. After the tires were low, I decided to check the engine. There were still rodent droppings which indicates sealant probably wasn’t done. I found Anthony and he is currently getting it taken care of which causes me lost time out of an already busy day. He did give me a free drink for my troubles (really?). He has been great, may take my car elsewhere if this is what I can now expect out of Escondido. Sad.
