I appreciate that Bill opened the hood of my vehicle. He noticed stains all over and asked what happened. As I looked, I was embarrassed to say I had not looked under the hood in quite a while. But, then it dawned on me that right before Thanksgiving I had brought my car in to Keyes for a coolant drain and refill. I realized that this is where the stains must have come from. I know from experience that a coolant leak would occur as a high pressure spray. I informed Bill of such and he said they would check for leaks. I was hoping that it would at least be cleaned up. When I got home I found that it was not. I also noticed a considerable amount of dirt and remembered the fires right after the first of the year. I cleaned it up. A result of all this was Bill had mentioned that a flush replaces all the the transmission fluid. I had agreed, but after this experience I Googled transmission flushes versus drains and decided to just have the drain/refill completed. I was thinking that my coolant drain was messy and did not want to take a chance. My previous experience was not professionally completed, in my opinion.
