Alejo Morales increases the value of the Keyes Lexus brand name by 10,000 fold. It is very rare, to have skill in operating from the “perspective” of the other person. Nothing was mentioned about my tight schedule or scarcity of time, but Alejo picked up on the context clues as quick as someone working in intelligence - and even though it was obvious he had a desk full of stapled papers with other peoples names on it and stuff - he welcomed our interaction from my perspective (aka: this guy just randomly walked up in here but he seems like he’s in a hurry so there is probably some sort of urgency; I’m busy af myself but I won’t make it obvious to him bc it’s more productive if I let this person perceive they have my full attention and their business is not an inconvenience to me). Worth a mention: I realized today from Alejo (and Hi-Me) that a foundational element of exceptional concours service is not in being perceived as perfect during the initial serve, but in how one volleys throughout the game after the serve. They handle customer concerns with FINESSE (fully genuine). I noticed a hiccup from a carwash and they handled it with utmost tact. By the way, Alejo & Hi-Me were perfect in every way - it was the vendor (detailers) that needed fine tuning but it’s ok bc every fine instrument gets tuned at some point - wack instruments can’t get tuned bc the knobs are made of plastic. Alejo & Hi-Me add tremendous value to the Keyes Lexus name. Everytime I need to fine tune my 2009 AWD IS250 with service to keep it in the highest operational state, I teeter between 3 options - do it myself bc no one else will put the same attention to detail and intention in service for a car I personally Love, find a local mechanic and build a relationship with them hoping they have the same love for my car and fingers crossed extensive knowledge of Second Gen AWD IS250, or take it to the “Lexus dealership” hoping I align with the right people that have the same passion for this historically monumental car and in preserving it versus **** **** me for windshield wipers and a brand new cabin air filter. I prefer to take it to the Keyes Keyes Keyes, Keyes of Van Nuys Lexus dealership over saving money with a local mechanic bc I assume the engineers know Lexus inside and out & it’s all on record & recorded by the company (Lexus Japan takes pride in their work), but in the back of my mind I know I’m in America and everyone out here is trying to hustle - what built trust and the reason why I choose Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys is the genuine, personable, extensively knowledgeable service I have received from Alejo - I’m relieved & elated to align with a service provider as passionate about my Lexus as I am. Anyone with the highest training in reading people & motives will agree - Alejo loves what he does and he is doing it to the best of his ability - he’s not doing it for the money, but the money will follow him wherever he goes bc of his passion.
